I’m Samuel Grant, a Byron Bay based Private Chef who has called the area home since 2016.

From a young age I was drawn to the energy, creativity and camaraderie of the kitchen. Over time I realised it was the pace, the pressure and the sense of purpose that truly resonated with me.

I began my apprenticeship in 2009 at Soul Bar & Bistro in Auckland before sharpening my craft at Cumulus Inc. in Melbourne, and later at Raes in Byron Bay.

Today I’m bringing the last 17 years of hospitality experience to the table

My food is modern, produce-driven and locally sourced, with an emphasis on seasonal ingredients, traditional techniques and generous hospitality.

My approach is grounded in fairness, honesty and kindness, with the goal of making people feel genuinely looked after, not just well fed.
